Hello! My name is Allison Dreshfield (she/they) and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I earned my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2016.

I specialize in working with transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse clients, as well as neurodivergent clients. I work with individuals (ages 11 and up) and couples, including polyamorous and other relationship structures. I predominantly use a person-centered approach, combined with trauma-informed and attachment-based theories. No single approach is the “best” for any client. I integrate several types of therapeutic interventions specific to the needs of client.

Areas of focus include:
Anxiety and panic Attachment-related issues
Chronic pain

If you decide to work with me, you can expect a safe, nonjudgmental environment. I am honored to hold space for you exactly as you are in the moment. Every thought, feeling, and behavior has a purpose.

My goal is to explore that purpose and help you cultivate a life for yourself where you can thrive and grow.
